AM-2552-MNT Manual Bootstrap System for DC-10-30 Aircraft (used with CF6-6 & CF6-50 Engines)

Features:

• Designed to install & remove CF6-6 & CF6-50 engines (when supported by commercial engine cradles) to/from DC-10-30 aircraft
• Bootstrap adapters included with system accommodate cradles manufactured by various suppliers

• System consists of parts from both manual bootstrap systems

o Manual system components used on wing engines (engines #1 & #3) as well as tail engines (engine #2) when following a ‘short stroke’ engine change procedure (requires forklift platform to support engine cradle)
o Powered system used exclusively for tail engine

Mobility:

• Lifting beams & associated hardware stored in plywood container

o All containers can be raised via forklift
