Designed to raise the nose gear on the P3 Orion airplane. With a maximum lifting height of 50", this allows ample clearance for the tail of the aircraft to enter a low entrance hanger facility door. The maximum lifting capacity is 13,000 pounds, thus allowing more than enough power to raise the aircraft's forward section to the allowable height. The unit's power source is an electrically operated motor that operates two jackscrews. Mechanics of lift is scissor-type design that lends itself to proper clearances, straight vertical travel, high power-to-lift distance proportions, and lightweight mobility of the entire unit. Hookup to aircraft takes less than five minutes due to the unique design of the removable support bar. This one-man operation is specifically designed for quick and simple usage.
