AM-1802 (Shipping Cradle) & AM-1803 (Transportation Base) Engine Handling System for CFM56-3

Mobility:

• Transport base consists of frame supported by four (4) shock-absorbing caster assemblies

o Each caster assembly offers 5” wide x 10” diameter wheel for easy mobility & weight capacity of 5,000 LBS each
o Standard shock-absorbing polyurethane tread wheels, position locks, & face brakes
o All four assemblies designed to pin in elevated position for air/truck transport of entire unit with engine

• Tow bar stows on base frame when not in use
• Maximum towing speed of 3 MPH
• Built-in shock-absorbing mounts cushion all transport shocks & vibrations
• Series of (14) tie-down rings secure unit during transportation
