The AGSE-D053 Engine Access Stand is designed for Airbus A300-600 aircraft. The stand consists of right and left engine sets. Each set consists of an inboard and outboard stand. The stands are fixed height, multi-level platformed, with manual and mechanically extending sliders. Total access is provided for the engines from lower level sliders for bottom access, to a counter-weighted drop bridge for top access. Handrail is provided around the outside perimeter of open sides, and protective bumpers protect against inadvertent contact with aircraft. Chain handrail is also provided to form a continuous safety barrier when sliders are extended. Two fixed stairways provide access to the ground.
