The AGSE-D037 Modular Dock System provides access to service and maintain the DC10, MD11, and A300-600 Aircraft. Vertical dock adjustment is provided by pin legs spaced at three inch intervals. This will accommodate the various aircraft jacking heights. Access to various deck levels is accomplished by stairs attached to each dock module. ‘Clip-on’ stairs are included to adjust stair height over the vertical travel range of the dock modules. Each module is caster mounted for easy positioning.

The AGSE-D029-G01 Tail Stand provides access to the tail section of the DC10 and MD11 Aircraft. The stand includes two optional personnel lifts for access to the sides of the vertical stabilizer and engine inlet. A tool lift is provided to transport tools and aircraft hardware between the working deck and the ground. A track mounted deck retracts to accommodate the tail cone and extends aft when the tail cone is lowered during
engine change. The forward end of the stand is contoured and includes sliders to match the aircraft shape. The stand has adjustable pinned legs to accommodate the various aircraft jacked heights. A fixed stairway, with clip-on stair treads is provided to access the deck area. Each stand has either dimpled Aerodeck or smooth Aerodeck with non-skid paint applied. Bumpers are provided on the inboard edges abutting the aircraft. The stand includes casters with swivel locks and brakes for positioning, tow bars, and utilities such as pneumatic, electric, and lighting are also included.

The AGSE-M057 Engine Access Stand is a three-level, fixed height structure providing engine access for MD80 and MD90 Aircraft. Handrail is provided around the outside of the top deck, and protective bumpers protect against inadvertent contact with aircraft. In addition to the three levels, there is an inboard step assembly at the lowest level providing access beneath the engine. Two stands are provided for the left and right hand sides (-G01/-G02). Each stand is equipped with a jib boom to aid in the handling of inlet cowl, engine access doors, and on the left side, the dorsal section. The jib boom has a hook travel of 244 inches (approx. 20 Ft.), and a weight capacity of 500 Lbs. Two fixed stairways (forward/aft) provide access to the ground. The right hand stand has a notch in the deck at the forward inboard corner to facilitate access to the cargo compartment.

The AM-1169 Nose Dock has been designed to provide access to the radome and windshield of a Boeing B727 jacked or unjacked aircraft. Fold down handrails are provided so the radome may swing open and permit access to the radar unit. The upper level of the Nose Dock is for access to the windshield area for maintenance and service. The stand is positioned to the aircraft on 4 swivel casters with locks and brakes. Two steering arms are supplied to make docking easier and to avoid damaging the aircraft. Protective bumpers of a minimum of 3" OD are fastened to the stand where aircraft contact may take place. The vertical adjustment available in this piece of equipment is by means of a telescoping leg assembly and manually pinned in increments to be specified by the customer.
Decking is of a non-skid material called aero deck and is a product of AGSE Corporation. It can be supplied galvanized or painted finish. Samples will be supplied on request.

The towbar is used for towing and steering the aircraft by attaching to the aircraft\'s Nose Landing Gear (NLG) and being pulled by a tow tractor. The towbar primarily consists of a cylindrical steel body. At one end of the tow bar is a lunette eye, which connects to the tow tractor. The lunette eye is equipped with a shock absorbing mechanism to reduce the shock load on the NLG. At the opposite end of the towbar is a mechanical head assembly, which connects to the aircraft NLG. The towbar is mounted on an articulated undercarriage with a hydraulic pump and a retract spring which raises and lowers the towbar.

The AM-1166 AFT Fuselage and AM-1167 FWD Fuselage Stands have been designed to provide access to the B727-200 aircraft at the floor level and ceiling level for general maintenance, overhaul and painting. Both the forward and aft stands cantilever over the wing and provide a continuous walkway from the Nose Dock to the rear door on each side of the aircraft. Flooring and stair steps are of steel, non-skid decking called aero deck. The decking can be manufactured from galvanized steel or can be primed and painted.
Protective bumpers follow the contour of the aircraft and protect the skin during positioning. Safety chains and 42" high handrails are attached the full length of all walkways. Swivel casters with steering arms, tow bars and brakes are provided with each stand for positioning to the aircraft. Vertical adjustment of the stand will allow access to a jacked or unjacked aircraft. Adjustment is by telescoping leg assemblies, manually pinning to attain the desired elevation. The low position of both stands is determined by an O.E.W. aircraft and the high position by the clearance required for a normal gear retraction.

The Range Simulation and Diagnostic Station (RSDS) provides a climactically clean room environment housing instrumentation and equipment for the purpose of supporting the ABL Test Program. The RSDS is designed to be used in conjunction with the AGSE-M122 Turret Maintenance and Conditioning Platform (TMCP).
The RSDS is supported by a Rolling Base that is fabricated primarily from structural grade tube steel. The Rolling Base is horizontally cross-braced to ensure square alignment of the vertical lift system. Four (4) ton capacity floor jacks are mounted to the rolling base to stabilize the structure. The floor jacks feature hand crank operation of a worm gear and acme screw actuator with swivel-mounted shoes.
The RSDS features a 10,000 clean room with a separately partitioned gowning area. A sliding door separates the two rooms. The environment of both rooms is climactically controlled by a system made up of a air conditioner, humidifier, blower and HEPA filters. The rooms also feature fluorescent lighting, insulated walls, smoke detectors, fire sprinklers and power outlets. The clean room has a pendant control for vertical and horizontal motion and communication headsets that can be plugged in at various locations.

The AM-1217 Wing Stands have been designed specifically for under wing, leading and trailing edge access of the Lockheed L-1011 and the Boeing 747 in the jacked and un-jacked condition. Due to their vertical adjustment, excellent access is afforded to other wide body aircraft, such as Douglas DC-10's, the family of Airbus A300's and new generations such as B767/757. Although designed for under wing se, each stand (12 in total) may be used on other areas of the aircraft such as the horizontal stabilizer and elevator. Each stand has an adjustable parallelogram stair with non-skid "AERODECK" treads. Platforms match the nominal dihedral of the aircraft and have "AERODECK" flooring with slider sections at each end. Platforms are elevated by an air-operated twin jack screw assembly driving a single scissor. Upper and lower limit devices prevent over-travel. Mobility is provided with large diameter swivel casters with locks and full face contact brakes. Services consist of electrical and air convenience outlets. Lighting is provided in the form of fluorescent light wans wired directly into junction boxes. Electrical service to the stand is from hanger power and connects to a pig-tail fitting at the base of the stand. Air service to the stands also connects at the base with each stand or interconnecting stands. A connecting hose is supplied so that up to three (3) stands along the leading edge or three (3) sections along the trailing edge may be connected. Air manifolds are located on top of each platform. The elevating system is air-powered with a control valve located on top of the platform next to the stair landing. The air system is protected with a filter and lubricator. Each stand is supplied with a tow bar, but lightweight construction will allow hand movement by three (3) to four (4) personnel.
