The AM-2488M MD-11 Manual Bootstrap System is designed to install and remove the Pratt & Whitney PW4460 and General Electric CF6-80C2 Engines when supported by commercial engine
cradles.

The AM-2488M MD-11 Manual Bootstrap System consists of two heat treated stainless steel lifting beam assemblies, miscellaneous hardware, and hoists. Two sets of (4) manual chain hoists are included with the system.
